On the 17th June 1998 SUMMERTIME DANCING was founded by Richard Purcell and Joyce Hutchins.

The Old Time Dance Club started on Wednesday evenings but now currently runs on Monday afternoons throughout the year. In addition, from the middle of May to early September, the Summertime GO Sequence Dance Club is run playing a mixture of Traditional Old Time, Classical Old Time and Popular Modern Sequence. Dances for both Clubs are run throughout the year in the Normandy Village Hall (GU3 2DD) supported by regular Dancing Holidays in Bournemouth.

We meet at the Normandy Village Hall, Glaziers Lane, Normandy, Surrey, GU3 2DD.

The Hall is a modern building with ample parking and a large suspended wood floor (which is kind to the knees and hips) in the main hall where the Summertime Clubs’ Balls and Dances are held.
